Upgrade Instructions

These instructions apply to all variants of Flasherize Chat.

1. Download the package from the Members Area and unzip the package.*
2. FTP the ChatRoom folder to your document root.
   Overwrite all files.
   Example: /home/user123/public_html/ChatRoom
3. Navigate to the "install.php" file in the "ChatRoom" folder with your browser.
   Example: http://www.yoursite.com/ChatRoom/install.php
4. Follow instructions, usually all you need to do is to save your configuration.
   If there are new features the default values will be written to your config file.
   Any old tables and config values will be kept intact.
5. After the install process completes, delete install.php from your server.

* Always do a backup of your ChatRoom folder before an upgrade.
